There is still a place for printed letters, posted mailouts and print advertising, but increasingly, marketing is moving online. It can be cheaper and more targeted.

For example, for the new UK-wide award scheme – the Manufacturing Industry Awards – we created a largely online management system. With email teasers and 'enter now' reminders sent out to the industry, all applications for the awards were handled via a website designed by us. Voting on the awards was again managed online, and this brand-new awards event attracted well over 1,000 public votes – which far exceeded the clients' expectations. As well as emails and websites, other online applications we've delivered have included surveys, touchscreen programmes and
e-brochures.
